Alright... I just went to go watch the first set of Jak and Dax The Lost Frontier cutscenes before I go purchase the game, simply because I knew I might have issues with it, and I didn't want to pay money if I was going to hate it and break the disk in half.

I'm VERY VERY VERY GLAD I DID.

I absolutely REFUSE to EVER pay money for that game... in fact, you'd probably have to PAY ME to get me to play it.

OH MY FREAKING GOD

First and foremost-- They completely DESTROYED the characters. Jak isn't Jak anymore! He talks way too much, no longer has that angsty-vibe and is now just a sarcastic jerk... I can't even really explain it. He's just no longer the character!

Not to mention Daxter turned into a wimpy submissive bumbling idiot.
YES, Daxter was a klutz. YES he was a bit of a coward. YES he always somehow gets into trouble.
But he was a cocky, flirty and sarcastic and was always interrupting Jak, NOT the other way around.

Jak and Dax don't even seem like friends anymore, let alone the infamous dynamic duo that they were in the other games..


OH AND THE PLOTLINE

So... They're fighting pirates, navigating though a very Mario-Kirby-Whatever world where there's gaping holes in the planet leading into clouds and trying to save the world from running out of eco...
This is NOT SINBAD.
This is JAK AND FREAKING DAXTER.

AND THE SOUNDTRACK.

I feel like they took the appearance of Jak and Dax, and then mangled the script, personality characteristics, and everything... I mean... Gah
I can't even form a coherent sentence. Each time I try, it conjures another memory of those cutscenes and I end up with "OH GOD BRING OUT THE BRAIN BLEACH"

So I'll stop rambling now. -holds hands away from keyboard forcibly-
